Why PayPal uses USD at checkout
PayPal processes most Cayman transactions in USD. To keep things smooth and approved by the gateway, we convert your order total to USD at a fixed, transparent rate when you select PayPal. The number you see in USD equals your KYD total converted – nothing extra added by us.
Example: CI$10.00 on the product page becomes $11.71 USD in PayPal (using a 1.17 rate).
